For those couples who have planned their dream wedding, all the details are in place but need an extra hand to execute it all so they can enjoy every moment - this package is for you. 

Our day of coordination services include an initial consultation (phone call or in person meeting), communications and an in-person meeting leading up to the wedding day, contacting vendors and confirming event itineraries, coordinating the ceremony rehearsal, being onsite the day of the event  to greet vendors, supervise rental and vendor setup, put out decor, coordinate the ceremony, execute the reception timeline, and then anything needed to help breakdown (clean up, final payments, etc). If there's anything else you'd additionally need, we will discuss and come up with a plan!

Our new micro-wedding package caters to the couple who are looking for an intimate elopement or wedding plans have changed due to the Covid-19 crisis. If you are looking to tie the knot in a special way, Down Home Events is your one stop shop to take care of your ceremony needs. 

The Micro-Wedding Package includes:

  • Intimate marriage ceremony for the bride and groom at their location of choice, with DHE onsite for setup, execution & cleanup for up to two hours 

  • Outdoor arbor with draping 

  • DHE to work with the couple to curate a music playlist and will provide a small sound system

  • Scheduling of an ordained officiant to perform the ceremony, DHE coordinator to be the witness

  • Bouquet & boutonniere from Flowers by Bert & Peg of North Kingstown, your choice of colors, bloom selection will be the florists design choice based on the season

  • Wedding cake for two or a decadent dessert of the couple's choice

  • Choice of a bottle of champagne, prosecco, wine or 6 pack of beer for a toast for two

  • Scheduling, ordering and pickup of everything above and setup at the location

  • Photography of the ceremony by DHE, couple to get all digital photos to download plus the option to have DHE setup a live stream of the ceremony for friends & family can watch (couple will need to provide a device and internet hookup for this option)

This includes managing excel documents with guest information, mail merges, tracking RSVP's and guest food selections for you. Don't have time to stuff, label & stamp your invitations? We do!

Concept and Design Planning


For those who are unsure of the direction of the overall look they want to create, we will work with you to come up with some options and create a cohesive look and style and work within your budget to create an incredible event design. We will take care of all the small, tedious details and arrangements so that my you can focus on the important stuff. That’s why we make the effort to understand your exact needs, so the wedding you imagine is the wedding you’ll get.

Bridal Bouquet


We will come up with a custom event timeline with all the milestones specifically for your wedding. All the details will be clearly laid out for you, we'll provide reminders and be there for you every step of the way. A day of itinerary will be distributed to all vendors and members of the bridal party so everyone is on the same page and the day will go off without a hitch!

Purple Themed Wedding


Anything else that is needed - we got you covered! Stuffing and prepping favors, preparing out of town guest packages, picking up supplies or extra decor, or helping with seating charts, just to name a few!
